Direct Shower Door ("Direct Shower Door," "us," "we," or "our") operates directshowerdoor.com (the "Site") and provides frameless glass shower door design, fabrication, and installation services across Southern California. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights available to you.

By using the Site, requesting a free estimate, or otherwise providing us with information, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information We Collect

Information you provide to us. When you request a free estimate, contact us, or otherwise fill out a form on the Site, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, mailing or service address, door style preferences, project details, and any other information you choose to include in your message.

Browsing and device data. Like most site operators, we automatically collect certain information that your browser or device sends whenever you visit the Site (“Log Data”). This may include your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, the pages you visit, referring/exit pages, time and date of your visit, and time spent on those pages.

Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Cookies are small files, which may include an anonymous unique identifier, that a website sends to your browser and stores on your device. We and our third-party service providers use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate and improve the Site and to understand how visitors interact with it, including the following tools:

  • Google Analytics (GA4) — a web analytics service provided by Google that collects information about how visitors use the Site (pages viewed, time on site, general location, device type) so we can understand and improve Site performance.
  • Google Tag Manager (GTM) — a tag management system we use to deploy and manage the analytics and marketing tags described in this policy without directly modifying the Site's code.
  • Invoca call tracking — when you call a phone number displayed on the Site, our call tracking provider, Invoca, may assign a unique tracking number and record details about the call (such as the number dialed, call duration, and, where disclosed at the start of the call, a recording of the call) so we can measure which marketing efforts generate calls and improve customer service.
  • Customer relationship management (CRM) system — information submitted through our forms or captured through call tracking may be stored in a CRM system we use to manage estimate requests, scheduling, and customer communications.

You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to alert you when a cookie is being sent. You may also opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. If you do not accept cookies, some portions of the Site may not function as intended. For more on Google's privacy practices, see the Google Privacy & Terms page.

How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your estimate requests and schedule field measures and installations
  • Communicate with you about your project, including by phone, email, or text (where you have consented)
  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Site and our marketing
  • Understand which marketing channels and pages are working, using the analytics and call-tracking tools described above; and
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations and enforce our terms.

SMS / Text Messaging Terms

If you provide your mobile phone number and opt in to receive text messages from Direct Shower Door (for example, appointment reminders or estimate follow-ups), message and data rates may apply, and message frequency may vary. You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us, or by contacting us using the information below. Reply HELP for assistance. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. Our text messaging program will be operated in accordance with our carriers' guidelines; additional SMS-specific terms will be posted here if and when a text messaging program is launched.

Disclosure to Third Parties / Service Providers

We do not sell your Personal Information. We may share information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as web hosting, analytics (Google Analytics/GTM), call tracking (Invoca), CRM and scheduling tools, and email or SMS delivery platforms. These providers are only permitted to use your information to provide services to us and are not authorized to use it for their own independent marketing purposes. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer such as a merger or sale of assets.

Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with Personal Information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete such information.

Data Security

The security of your Personal Information is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. While we use commercially reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Your Privacy Rights (Including California / CCPA)

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your Personal Information. If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended, may give you the right to:

  • Know what Personal Information we have collected about you and how it has been used and disclosed;
  • Request deletion of your Personal Information, subject to certain exceptions;
  • Correct inaccurate Personal Information; and
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights.

We do not sell or share Personal Information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under the CCPA. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information below; we may need to verify your identity before completing your request.
